SafeGulf is the basic safety training standard developed by four major offshore oil companies: BP, Shell, ChevronTexaco and ExxonMobil. Prior to January 1, 2006, all contractors who perform offshore work for these operators must complete training in accordance with SafeGulf approved curriculum, pass a 100 question test, carry a SafeGulf Identification Card, and be listed in the SafeGulf database
Oil Spill School Spill Management Training
The Spill Management Training Course is designed to meet the MMS requirements for annual spill management team training, as well as training requirements for Qualified Individuals. The training covers Clean Gulf Associates (CGA) Equipment Updates, Oil Spill Trajectories, Spill Reporting Requirements, and much more.
