SafeLandUSA is offered to individuals who have successfully completed the SafeGulf program. Proof of SafeGulfUSA course completion must be submitted prior to the start of the class.
What is SafeLandUSA?
SafeLandUSA is the basic safety training standard developed by four major offshore oil companies:
BP, Shell, Chevron and ExxonMobil. All contractors who perform offshore work for these operators must:

Complete training in accordance with SafeLandUSA approved curriculum

Pass a 15 question test with a score of 80% or higher

Carry a SafeLandUSA Identification Card (these cards have no expiration date)

Be listed in the SafeLandUSA database
What does the course cover?
To complete the SafeLandUSA requirements, the following
topics have been added:
- Environmental Awareness
- Excavation – Trenching and Shoring
- Occupational Health
- First Aid / CPR

How can one receive this training?
J. Connor Consulting, Inc. is an ASC Accredited SafeLandUSA and PEC Accredited SafeLandUSA Training Provider. Our
training facility is located in Houston, Texas. We are also available to train your personnel at a location
convenient to your operations.
How much does the training cost?
The SafeLandUSA course is $100 to the fee of the SafeGulf course.
The total for both classes is $350 when taught at our location in Houston, TX.
The minimum fee for an offsite class will be $500 for SafeLandUSA, which covers the tuition for up to five students. Regular
class fees apply for each additional student over the five. Offsite SafeLandUSA instruction is only offered as a component to the SafeGulf course.
How long does the training take?
SafeLandUSA is a continuation of the SafeGulf course taught on the consecutive day of the SafeGulf class schedule. The duration of the SafeLandUSA class is four hours, culminatiing with a short exam.

all students must have a verbal and written understanding of the English language.
We do not supply translators.

Due to class size limitations, reservations are highly recommended. Classes
start at 08:00. Please arrive 30 minutes early for registration.
If classes are postponed for any reason, students will be notifed several days in advance.
