JCC Partners with ACT Risk Management, Inc.
Published on November 2, 2004

In September, 2004, J. Connor Consulting, Inc. made an innovative addition to our offshore services by partnering with ACT Risk Management, Inc. (ACT) of Houston, Texas. ACT is a highly regarded provider of health, safety and environmental systems management.

ACT’s capabilities and expertise are a good complement to JCC’s existing services and promise to bring much needed assistance to our clients in the area of Safety and Environmental Management Program (SEMP) implementation and training. Chief among the services that ACT brings to JCC clients are risk assessments, safety consulting and training.

JUST IN TIME!!! The SEMP standard, API RP 75, requires a system-wide audit at least every four years. These audit deadlines are approaching. Additionally, the MMS recently announced they are preparing a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) leading to regulatory requirements for operators to implement four SEMP elements:

  • Management of Change
  • Hazard Analysis
  • Operating Procedures
  • Quality Assurance

JCC and ACT Risk Management would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience to present our practical SEMP compliance solution and develop your plan for implementation and compliance.

As always, our goal is to provide you with superior service making it easier and safer for you to drill and produce.

We’ll call you soon to arrange a meeting, or you may contact us at (281) 578-3388.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Smith VP, Health and Safety
