The Minerals Management Service issued the following Notice to Lessees regarding the submission of well log drilling records. Operators with questions can contact JCC or the MMS at the numbers provided in this release.

NOTICE TO LESSEES AND OPERATORS OF FEDERAL OIL AND GAS LEASES IN THE OUTER CONTINENTAL SHELF, GULF OF MEXICO OCS REGION

Change of Address for Contractor Receiving Digital Well Log Drilling Records after Hurricane

This Notice to Lessees and Operators (NTL) is issued pursuant to 30 CFR 250.103 and notifies you of a change in address of the contractor receiving certain well records on behalf of the Minerals Management Service (MMS) subsequent to Hurricane Katrina. Effective as of September 15, 2005, well records should be sent to A2D Technologies at the following address until further notice:

Any well records due to be submitted to the MMS GOMR TDMS Office at 1201 Elmwood Park Blvd., MS 5020 (pre hurricane address) should be held until further notice. If you have questions or concerns about data submittal you may call (281) 986-6159.

The Regional and the New Orleans District Offices have resumed most operations under its Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). The COOP team is stationed in Houston, Texas. MMS is committed to conducting operations in as normal a manner as possible.

Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 Statement: The information collection referred to in this NTL is intended to provide clarification, description, or interpretation of requirements contained in 30 CFR 250 subparts A and D. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approved the information collection requirements and assigned OMB control numbers 1010-0114 and 1010-0141. This NTL does not impose additional information collection requirements subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
